Hump day? Already? Ok. I’ll roll with it. Wait I just realized that it’s Tuesday….
I’ve so far ran 5 miles. Accomplished day already.
I’m waking up on my own minutes before 5 am now. What have I done to myself?? I rolled out of bed, turned off my set alarm, and sliced 2 slices of extreme cinnamon and smeared cookie butter on each. I sat down on my living room floor and checked the radar. No clouds coming my way!
And then in typical fashion I got dressed, forgot my deodorant, and set out to run.
Mile 3 was a tiny struggled as you can tell. I was still finding my groove at that point. I finished drenched in sweat.
Sweat is the perfect agent for eyeliner removal.
Running stats 5 miles 45:23 9’04″
I’m indifferent about my results. I’m primarily pleased that I’m just getting myself out of bed on and shoes on.

Long day at work yesterday! I made up a to-do list beyond my scheduled patients. I had a few open slots and no-shows, so I had extra time to get my “other work” done. Other work included PowerPoint medical student case study, 9 meal rounds, and 1 test tray! I may have had to stay at work for an extra 45 minutes, but I completed 3 huge projects. I also scored delicious fruit and granola from the test tray.
I snuck the granola back with me.
The day was great despite not bringing my clean (read: white!) lab coat back to work. When I went over to cardiac rehab I had to throw my chapstick, calculator, pen, highlighter, badge, etc into…a hairnet! I didn’t have any pockets, so I made it work! I tried to tuck everything into a drawer upon arrival but one of the nurses caught on to me quickly. She started cracking up while taking a patient’s blood pressure and said, “Is that what I think it is?!” She thought it was a surgical cap. Same thing. She nabbed it on the way out and had the other girls check it out. I have no shame with my make-shift pencil case.

Luckily Aaron had work to do after work, so I was able to take a 20 minute breather after getting home. I was exhausted. What’s new?
I began on dinner by chopping vegetables. I found the squash to have a brown ring around the peel.
Normal? I tossed it.
Once my dinner guest showed up, I suggested we drink a kolsch since they are best fresh.
We split this while I focused primarily on water.
I forged on with potatoes, romaine, and salmon after the minor squash set back. Per usual, Aaron covered the fish. He went for a chili-lime flavor. I went with it.
The side salad was topped with a balsamic-olive oil dressing that I whipped up, goat cheese, and walnuts. Dinner was eaten while watching the Olympics. Missy Franklin brought tears to my eyes. And then minutes later before 9 pm, my eyes were glued shut. Typical.

Wow beautiful post. I really enjoy. Thanks for sharing.:)
