Whew! Nothing 10 hours of sleep can’t cure.
My sore throat is 85% better this morning!
Dietitian Business
Diabetes educations dominated my day (as well as the sore throat). I taught 2 diabetes classes and had 2 inpatient diabetes educations. Inpatient educations are typically very brief. Survival information if you will. If a patient is feeling well enough, it could be a long session.
With a sore throat, I didn’t want to each much despite my hunger. I settled on peaches and sunflower butter and raspberry preserves on bread.
I was pretty hungry though. I was texting Aaron all of my wishes. First wish: please come over, make me dinner, and serve to me in bed. Scratch that, on the couch while I watch the Olympics. Next text: Oh and ice cream. My throat needs ice cream! I told him that I was slightly joking about these requests but to let me know what he could do about them.
I spent the last part of my day trying to fill in my productivity since July 14th. I don’t even remember what I did this Monday. I was searching for schedules and notes in all of my desk drawers.
After work
Pajamas were found right away! And then dinner came over.
How much are we eating?
Aaron had been at a local brewery for a meeting (really!) and picked up food from them. They cook only vegan food so there was fake cheese on the black bean tacos. I’ve decided in the past that I don’t trust fake cheese. I still ate it though.
The food had quite a kick to it which cleared up my nasal passage. I washed down the meal with more water than usual. I refused to be dehydrated with a sore throat.
And then I fell asleep at 8pm. I saw only a tiny part of the Olympics and have no idea what happened! I’m trying to catch up this morning.
I have a lot on my mind to do today and for the weekend. Must grab pen and paper to begin!
