Despite a sinus infection which inhibits my ability to take deep breaths, I ran this morning. The training plan said 12 miles, I thought 9 miles.
I needed to know that if this sinus infection doesn’t improve by next Saturday, that I can still run. I don’t need to be speedy, but I just need to be able to run 13.1 miles. Mental game today.
Two slices of toast with cookie butter served as fuel.
This didn’t seem like much but it would get me through.
Start time was 7 am just like it’ll be next week. I can only hope the weather will be the same. It was upper 50′s!
No problems except pace which I am fine with.

I maybe could have cranked out 3 miles to meet my original 12 mile plan, but I felt confident for next week which is what mattered.
Next week includes 3 short run, rest days, and then the big day. The only thing to really figure out is this sinus infection. Quite annoying.
