I haven’t shared a few parts of my life recently.

Way back in March I had fallen asleep on the couch and woke up to a missed call from my sister.  I instantly knew something was up.  I called her back with no answer.  Twins plus 2 hour time difference makes it hard to reach someone on the phone.  I sent her a text which unfolded as so over the next 12 hours.

Yep!  I’m getting another niece of nephew!! 

After work I immediately went out to buy a congratulatory card and gender neutral socks.  I had bought one pair of gender neutral socks when she told me she was pregnant 4 years ago.  I eventually had to buy a second pair of socks for that pregnancy!

I had no luck with gender neutral socks though.  Target and Babies R Us both failed me.  I did find adorable baby Puma shoes though.  When I showed them to Aaron he immediately put them on Bear and Benjamin Franklin.

And now Aaron and I have plane tickets to California for November to greet my niece!

We will be flying into San Francisco to stay for a few days with Aaron’s cousin and then heading south to Fresno to spend the rest of the time with my family.

There will be many breweries, miles, crying, burping, screaming on the trip and I can’t wait for it!
