I didn’t go to FNCE but I did do this…
Eat all afternoon after running 12 miles.
The bread that I was so focused on eating while at Great Harvest that I left behind the paid honey whole wheat bread.
Apple crumble!
Went to a fall craft-like event that was cold and a bit of a let down besides the cute dogs and popcorn shop that we found.
Grocery shopped.
Got my hands back on my paid bread!
Salt and cracked popcorn in the mix!
I requested a fun beer to drink.
Matching beer glass!
Slight let down of dinner.
Shrimp enchiladas and a side of zucchini with paprika and bread crumbs. It’s ok, popcorn made up for it later!
I may have fallen asleep by 9pm, but I was up at 7 am with strong driving hunger.
Rolled out of bed for toast with sunflower butter and jam. With hunger being stifled, I had time to make Pinterest pumpkin coffee.
Fresh pumpkin in the mix and the mix is lasting for a few days!
Being able to focus now that I had food and coffee in my system, I was ready for a hardy meal. I literally told Aaron, “We’re starting out day with vegetables!”
Vegetables+eggs should be done more often for breakfast. I need to follow the trend more.
My Sunday involved Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and cooking.
Cooking in large pots is so much fun! I was making a huge batch of sweet potato soup.
Told ya.
Aaron took over the grilled cheese making. I brought over leftover sautéed onions and peppers to stuff into the sandwiches.
Sautéed onions need to be in all grilled cheeeses.
Leftover soup was put in a large freezer bag and froze in a soup bowl to prevent leaks.
I’ve been all about having quick dinners on hand lately. It’s almost critical until my half marathon is over. Speaking of that…we’ve been having record low temperatures in the Midwest. Must invest in warmer runner gear.
Enjoy your Monday!
