I am grateful for binders full of women. Why? Because I was woken up at 6:05 am with a text of a meme of Bill Clinton coming out on the debate stage saying, “Did someone say binder full of women???” Hilarious but I realized that I set my alarm for 5:59 PM! Saved with political humor.

Cardiac rehab jump started my day. Between patients, a few other cardiac rehab co-workers and I discussed Bacon Fest. They kept asking me for more details since my boyfriend is a big part of the event and I was blank. Oops. Either way Bacon Fest is tonight and I am super excited!
The rest of my day was at my main office. I caught up on a few chart notes and saw two diabetes and a weight loss patient. I think that my salary should be based on how many times a day I say, “carbohydrate.”
Once I was caught up with daily work and it was 5pm, I saw that it began raining. Heavy rain. No umbrella in sight. Dang!
My hair was dripping water by the time I got into my car. I actually had decided to call off my Wednesday’s run and run instead on Thursday and Friday.
clocked out
Comfortable, warm clothes were immediately found when I arrived home. I was happy to not be running in the rain since I would be worried about slipping and hurting something. No injuries during race week please!
Instead of running 2 miles, I did 10 minutes of yoga. My body felt opened up afterwards. I should probably do this again on Saturday-the day before my half marathon.
Dinner was soup. Again. I need to lay off soup next week. It was a good night for soup though. I lit a few candles, opened up the window to let the rainfall be background noise, and started peeling parsnips.
Curried parsnips soup and opened grilled cheese! The soup tasted good but had a funky texture. I am a texture girl!
After dinner Aaron dove into a project for Bacon Fest. Benjamin Franklin jumped in to help.
He really needs opposable thumbs to be a bigger help.
While Aaron worked I ate all the popcorn.
Fun fact: eating caramel popcorn every night at midnight during freshman year of college helped me gain 10 pounds at the year’s end. Thanks popcorn!
