It’s Friday already? Bam, that’s what happens when you take 2 days off of work.
Brilliant.
dietitian business
I’m going to go into work with my head down today since I realized late afternoon yesterday that I have no idea where my pager is! It should be vibrating around somewhere on the 7th floor at our office. I’ve searched patient rooms, my desk, my purse….the garbage can. That’s when you know that you are desperate.
Keep paging 842. Maybe it’ll vibrate into sight.
The day wasn’t too eventful. Per Thursday routine, I talked strictly diabetes. I have this charting hatred on Thursdays. It was in full swing yesterday.
I also sent a letter to The Honorable Pat Quinn to protest looser ways to become a licensed dietitian. Licensure protects other dietitians and more importantly the public. I’ll post a link to the letter for any other Illinois RD if you’d like.
clocked out
I was the last to leave work and now have the feeling that I forgot to shut off the light before leaving. Woopsies!
We had plans to go to the high school play, Avenue Q tonight which started at 7.
Luckily I had a quick dinner on board-creamy cheesy beer soup!
Aaron had me use a porter beer which was a great choice. This is a good alternative from chili but you still feel the stick-to-your-ribs feeling when you leave the table.
I somehow drove us safely in the rain to the high school. I am horrible at driving at night when it rains. Me, “Where’s the line? I can’t see any road lines!”
The play was great! The cast had some puppet characters which were great. Of course we went to a high school play only Aaron’s dad is the tech director. His sets always look the best of the plays that we go to.
Plans for the day:
…seeing patients…..charting….finding a pager
Life of a dietitian!

We just got liscensure in NV, hopefully every state will get there at some point.
