My new training is officially on the fridge which means that the training itself is official.
Running tip: hang your training plan somewhere you can constantly look at it. No need to have a jumbo-sized training plan taking up the entire living room wall, but you being able to see your accomplishment and progress is helpful.
Here’s the breakdown for month by month.
You may want to click on those to read more detail. Thursday pace runs will be at race pace goal. Interval runs with a 5K pace is 7:51.
My only problem is my time goal. I want to PR at 1:50 but not sure if that’s a reality. A lot can happen during a training session including injury (knock on wood).
For now I’ll plan on a goal pace of 8:23 for the 1:50 PR. Go big or go home. And this course is nice and flat.
